Haint blue painted on a house keeps the evil spirits away. Next year, I am personally painting the ceiling of my porch Haint Blue to keep away all the ghosts that haunt me! I am so haunted....
That is a beautiful old house! Wish I could live somewhere like that! I like blue anyway. Does it keep only the nasty ghosts away or the nice ones too?
In the beginning it was all spirits. The people in the house could not be influenced by spirits outside the house. Later as it developed, this is all very old though, some people would paint their windows and doors, etc, haint blue in order to keep evil away from them. I'd like to take a road trip and photograph haint blue houses as they are all over the South.
